These leaves are carefully selected by a family from the Tsáchila tribe in Ecuador, who grow guanabana (Annona muricata) trees on their 2000-hectare forest reserve. Their cultivation is deeply rooted in their relationship with the land and traditional practices.
In the context of traditional beliefs, Tsáchila community members value the guanabana plant for its many uses. The leaves are sometimes included in wellness-related rituals or preparations, and the plant is considered supportive in maintaining energetic balance and vitality. In some practices, leaves are also used externally in body care traditions.
